What if I need someone within 48 hours?
List your job as an urgent shift needed within 48 hours. We have a dedicated section for urgent postings, so available professionals in your area can quickly find and respond to time-sensitive shifts.
How are professionals vetted?
For roles that require a license, we review the professional's license number when they create their profile. That said, clinics should always do their own due diligence — please verify each professional's license and complete your credentialing on the day of work before they begin.
What if I can't fill a role within 30 days?
There's zero risk to you. If a role isn't filled, you're never charged — you only pay a placement fee when you successfully hire someone. No hire, no fee.
Can professionals apply directly, or do I go through an agency?
Professionals apply directly to your listing. There is no agency middleman — you communicate directly with candidates, review their profiles, and make the hiring decision yourself.

Yes — completely free. Creating a profile, browsing shifts, and applying costs nothing. You only pay when you earn.
How do I get paid?
After you complete a shift, the clinic pays you directly on the day of work. Temporary workers will need to fill out Form I-9 (Employment Eligibility Verification) to confirm their legal right to work, and Form W-4 (Employee's Withholding Allowance Certificate) to establish tax withholding. Depending on the type of temporary work, an employment contract or a W-9 form could also be necessary. Dr. Lee's List is not responsible for wages, tax withholding, employment verification, contracts, or any legal or financial matters related to temporary workers.
Can I really set my own schedule?
Yes. You choose which shifts to apply for and which to skip. There are no minimums, no mandatory availability windows, and no penalties for passing on a shift. Your schedule is entirely your own.
What credentials do I need to sign up?
It depends on the specialty. For dental hygienist shifts, you'll need your RDH license. For dental assistants, a DA certification is advised, or previous experience. For radiology techs, your ARRT credentials. You upload these during profile setup and we verify them before you can apply to matching shifts.
What if I don't like a clinic after one shift?
You never have to go back. There's no commitment — you're free to work with different clinics every week if you want, or find ones you love and keep returning. You're always in control.
